I’ve worked with Z on a number of tattoos over the years and really appreciate his process and knowledge of Asian art. I love the relaxed vibe at Tabernacle Tattoo Tampa. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the artists use clean, top‑quality equipment. The studio’s location is convenient and easy to find, with plenty of parking. The ambiance makes it feel like a comfortable art space rather than a typical tattoo shop. Highly recommend this tattoo studio.

I visited Z back in 2022 and told him I wanted something unique, Japanese and traditional and he said “hold my beer” and he got to work. At first it was going to be a half sleeve and he convinced me to go full sleeve, best decision I made. He’s very respectful, responsible, professional and straight up down to earth. My tattoo still looks like he just got done with it and it has been 3 years. I get a lot of compliments on how vibrant and professional it looks. I highly suggest and recommend his ink work 100%. His wife works with him too and she does amazing work too. Thanks Z!!! Much love bro!

Top 3 things I loved at Tabernacle Tattoo Tampa: 1) The welcoming atmosphere that made me feel comfortable right away. 2) Spotless clean studio and well‑organized workstations. 3) Friendly and knowledgeable tattoo artist who gave me great advice, delivered expert work and kept the price affordable. I will definitely come back for my next tattoo.

I had an awesome experience at Tabernacle Tattoo. Z is a master of his craft and gave me an amazing Japanese water full arm sleeve. His years of experience really show in the way he curates his tattoos. Overall I had a phenomenal experience and will definitely be back to have more work done!

I was recommended to go see Kristen from my best friend and let me tell you, I am blown away by her skills. I sent her my tattoo inspo and she more than delivered. My tattoo is gorgeous, full of vibrant colors (normally I'm a black and gray gal) and I get so many compliments on my tattoo any time it's seen. Kristen herself is hilarious, understanding and just a complete joy to work with. She was more than forgiving when I'd have to take a short break to move around due to the position I had to lay in to get this beautiful piece of art. I will absolutely be going back for more tattoos from Kristen without a second thought!

Highly recommend Kristen! She touched up my chest piece from 13 years ago and she DELIVERED with way better details. She is definitely someone I’ll be visiting soon for my next tattoo!

Zenon is one of the most genuine and honest people not only in the tattoo world but life in general. Getting a tattoo is an experience from the initial idea and talking about the concept of what you would like, to the application of the tattoo. You will always remember getting a tattoo, the fun conversations, the emotions, the jokes told and the overall feeling of the environment you were in while getting your tattoo. Zenon gives you 100% of himself and makes getting your tattoo an unforgettable experience. Guaranteed to leave with not only a wonderful tattoo but a feeling you can only get in a class act tattoo shop and a story you will be telling people for the rest of your life. Don’t sleep on tabernacle tattoo, the clock never stops ticking and life is short!!

Really cool spot. Zenon is an awesome dude super chill to work with and very knowledgeable of his craft. Went in with a design and Zenon being the expert put together a full sleeve for me that once was all finished just blew my expectations out of the water. I will be back for any future work I need and I also have been recommending Tabernacle to all of my friends who need work done. Awesome spot!

Such a great atmosphere, Zenon and Kristen are not only great tattooers but awesome people. They provide great customer service and a wholesome experience. If you don’t have great vision, they do and will help create art and provide guidance. The most important part is making people happy, and everyone I see getting tattoo’d, including me is happier than when they came in. If you’re looking for a great tattoo, good vibes, and a wholesome experience come here. I plan on returning here to get a lot more work done (:

I was lucky enough to meet Kristen this weekend at an event in Ocala and got an amazing tattoo from her. She is everything you want in an artist and I will definitely be travelling to Tampa to get her to ink some beautiful ladies on me!

Z is phenomenal. He has been working on a cover up project for me for a while now. One that no one else was willing to deal with I should add. He is kind, caring, and never pushy about my limits. He is incredible at what he does, and his work shows for itself. I highly recommend you seek him out if you have a project of your own you'd like done.

Kristen and Zenon are both awesome artists and create a great vibe in their studio. I always feel so comfy going in between their decor and their professionalism. I've gotten work from Kristen. She's so wonderful and does incredible work. I've never been so excited to get a tattoo than when I know she's going to do it.

Zenón does absolutely phenomenal work. He was able to give me a consultation, price, and half sleeve on a moments notice. If you’re willing to put in the work he will give you an amazing piece of work!

Awesome small tattoo shop with an impressive portfolio of mostly large pieces. Z is an incredible artist and very easy to communicate with. He was kind enough to fit me in the schedule for a smaller tattoo. Very thankful for his flexibility and willingness to work on something for me. Definitely recommend this shop for anyone looking for a tattoo artist.

Z is awesome. He is an experienced tattoo artist that I've gotten multiple tattoos from. His custom tattoos are amazing! He listens and gives intelligent opinions and options to perfect the idea and final tattoo. Always professional, clean, and no-nonsense. Thank you Z for making my ideas come to life! 🎉

Hands down the best tattoo shop in the Tampa area and consequently the best kept secret for customers who want the experiential value along with their art vision interpreted into a tattoo with real life and energy. Zenon has been around the tattoo world for decades, across different markets, both east and west coast, and has mastered multiple styles (realism, Japanese, traditional, etc). He will remain around long after the current trends of the overmarketed tattoo world have subsided. You can bet he can execute on any concept thrown at him and build it into a very unique and powerful tattoo that will inspire you. The client relationship driven focus here is a first that I have seen. Zenon's extreme attention to detail, honesty, and creativity is something that has to be experienced for anyone wanting a quality tattoo and experience. This review and pics included are both a recommendation and also my way of reminiscing, since they come from the pre-pandemic days of this year (Jan - Feb 2020). They are in reverse chronological order of a left arm sleeve done by Zenon (blank ink) and are best seen then textually interpreted.
