Below are just a few tattoos I’ve been working on at the moment. At times larger more complex tattoo work takes real time, it never goes quick or easy, it’s a matter of effort on both ends, the client and myself should share the passion for tattooing in order to develop the best product. I have been getting closer on wrapping up a few projects this has one one more session left. I'm very grateful to have the clients I do and the trust they give me to conquer projects like this, which was started about 3 months ago. Im really finally getting the opportunity to reflect on some of the things I am truly grateful for, we have been busy at the tattoo shop and for that and our excellent clients Im truly happy. Tampa has been keeping us busy proving awesome custom tattoos but sometimes its always nice to escape one reality and enter another. I traveled to Love Hate Social Club in Cork City, Ireland which was an amazing experience, I got to tattoo a lot of really amazing people during my time there. Small Butterfly Tattoo

As much I love having big arm pieces, back pieces, leg pieces, body suits to do, doing small one shot tattoos are always a good time. Doesn't have to be a butterfly or just in black and grey, but this cool guy right here is a perfect example of even though it looks tiny there's a lot of intricate detail within these things. And we can put color on these little guys all day.

Dragon on Female

Dragons, Dragons, Dragons! I love Dragons. Traditionally they are associated with bodies of water; ponds, lakes, rivers etc.. So Water Spirits or Gods, if you will. They have also been known to bring good luck and are seen as being very the very wisest of creatures. The tattoo shown here is of a Traditional Japanese Dragon being depicted with cherry blossoms and a bit of smoke with fire. A very colorful piece I did down the side of a female client. Again I am very thankful for the time and dedication it took to create this piece. It's what we are about!

Mandala Tattoo

The Mandala spans back into Ancient Times. It's origins can be found within the teachings of the Hindus and Tibetan Buddhist monks. The term Mandala is Sanskrit meaning "circle". Throughout history these totems have signified the cycles of birth, the mysteries death and rebirth. The tattoo shown here has a very simplistic look at a first glance, but there are varying lines of complex and layered within it's design.

I’ve worked with Z on a number of tattoos over the years and really appreciate his process and knowledge of Asian art. I love the relaxed vibe at Tabernacle Tattoo Tampa. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the artists use clean, top‑quality equipment. The studio’s location is convenient and easy to find, with plenty of parking. I visited Z back in 2022 and told him I wanted something unique, Japanese and traditional and he said “hold my beer” and he got to work. At first it was going to be a half sleeve and he convinced me to go full sleeve, best decision I made. He’s very respectful, responsible, professional and straight up down to earth. My tattoo still looks like he just got done with it and it has been 3 years. I get a lot of compliments on how vibrant and professional it looks. I highly suggest and recommend his ink work 100%. I was recommended to go see Kristen from my best friend and let me tell you, I am blown away by her skills. I sent her my tattoo inspo and she more than delivered. My tattoo is gorgeous, full of vibrant colors (normally I'm a black and gray gal) and I get so many compliments on my tattoo any time it's seen. Kristen herself is hilarious, understanding and just a complete joy to work with. She was more than forgiving when I'd have to take a short break to move around due to the position I had to lay in to get this beautiful piece of art. I will absolutely be going back for more tattoos from Kristen without a second thought!

Hands down the best tattoo shop in the Tampa area and consequently the best kept secret for customers who want the experiential value along with their art vision interpreted into a tattoo with real life and energy. Zenon has been around the tattoo world for decades, across different markets, both east and west coast, and has mastered multiple styles (realism, Japanese, traditional, etc). He will remain around long after the current trends of the overmarketed tattoo world have subsided. You can bet he can execute on any concept thrown at him and build it into a very unique and powerful tattoo that will inspire you. The client relationship driven focus here is a first that I have seen. Zenon's extreme attention to detail, honesty, and creativity is something that has to be experienced for anyone wanting a quality tattoo and experience. This review and pics included are both a recommendation and also my way of reminiscing, since they come from the pre-pandemic days of this year (Jan - Feb 2020). They are in reverse chronological order of a left arm sleeve done by Zenon (blank ink) and are best seen then textually interpreted.
